Israel’s military says it destroyed 16 aircraft belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force during overnight attacks on Tehran.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces said its air force carried out a “broad wave of strikes” across the capital, including attacks on Mehrabad Airport.

Israel claims the airport has been used by the Quds Force as a logistics hub to move weapons and money to allied armed groups across the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon.

There has been no immediate response from Iranian authorities, and the claims cannot be independently verified at this stage.
