Iran says it targets a facility belonging to Israeli arms manufacturer Rafael in the northern city of Haifa with drones.
The claim comes from Iran’s armed forces, with the state-linked Fars news agency quoting a spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.
According to Fars, the spokesperson says Iranian forces fire missiles and drones at targets in Eilat, Dimona and areas around Tel Aviv. The same official also claims strikes on what Tehran describes as US military bases in the region.
Iran also says its air defence systems intercept cruise missiles and drones over central and southern parts of the country.
Earlier, we reported claims that strikes also hit aerospace facilities near Ben Gurion Airport, as well as refuelling aircraft at the site.
Israel has not officially commented on any of those claims.
