The Israeli military says its air force carries out a new round of strikes against military infrastructure in western Iran.

In a post on X, the Israel Defense Forces say the targets include what it describes as several key command centres linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, or IRGC, and the Basij.

According to the Israeli army, those facilities are used to coordinate operations and plan attacks against Israel and other countries in the region.

The military also says it is broadening its attacks on what it calls the Iranian government’s command-and-control infrastructure in western and central Iran.
