Nour Odeh, reporting from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, says Iran launches another wave of missile strikes at several locations across Israel, including Tel Aviv.
Odeh says Israeli sources count 10 separate volleys between the morning and midday. She describes it as “one of the fiercest days” of the confrontation so far.
According to Odeh, the strikes continue despite repeated claims that Iran’s military capacity has been badly degraded. She says some of the incoming weapons appear to be different from those used earlier.
Odeh reports that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has been publicly naming some of the missiles and outlining their capabilities. She says some of the warheads are believed to split into multiple smaller bombs, while others appear to carry a larger explosive payload.
She says those cluster-style warheads can spread damage over an area as wide as 10km. That assessment, she notes, is based on the capabilities described by Iranian officials.
According to Odeh, the attacks range from Netanya on Israel’s northern coast down to the Negev in the south. She says the breadth of the strikes shows a wide geographical spread.
From Ramallah, Odeh says even the sound of the incoming fire is noticeably different. She adds that millions of Israelis spend the day repeatedly going in and out of shelters.
