Explosions were heard overhead in Jerusalem shortly after Israel’s military issued an alert warning of incoming Iranian missiles, according to AFP journalists on the ground. 

The reported blasts came around two hours after an earlier salvo triggered sirens, as Israel’s air defences were activated in response to the previous launch warning.
