The United Arab Emirates says it is dealing with an incoming attack.

In a statement, the UAE Defence Ministry says its air defence systems are “currently responding” to missile and drone threats coming from Iran.

The ministry says the sounds being heard are caused by interception activity, as its defence systems target the incoming missiles and drones.
