There is no sign of the bombardment easing across Iran, with strikes reported again on Saturday in several cities, according to reporters on the ground and Iranian officials.
One of the deadliest incidents is reported in Isfahan, where Reuters and Iranian media say 15 factory workers are killed. Reports say the site hit is a civilian factory making refrigerators and heaters, and that a number of other workers are injured.
Isfahan remains a major focus of the campaign. The central Iranian city is home to a large concentration of industrial sites, including both civilian and military facilities, and also hosts some of the country’s most significant nuclear installations.
Strikes are also reported in Tehran, Tabriz, Bandar Abbas and Sirjan in Kerman province.
Tehran appears to face the heaviest bombardment through the day and overnight. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says drones are seen over the capital and claims at least three are shot down.
Taken together, Saturday’s attacks suggest there is still no slowdown in the tempo of strikes nationwide. By all accounts, this is another day of sustained bombardment since the war began.
