Tehran Death Toll Rises to 460 With More Than 4,000 Injured Since Start of War

At least 460 people have been killed and more than 4,300 injured in Tehran since the start of the US-Israeli war on Iran, according to local emergency officials.

Mehr Soroush, deputy head of the Tehran Emergency Health Department, told state broadcaster IRIB News that 4,309 people had been wounded in attacks on the capital.

He also said the strikes had damaged 18 ambulances and 18 emergency response bases across the city since February 28.

Nationwide, the impact of the conflict has been even greater. Authorities say more than 1,200 people have been killed across Iran, with over 10,000 others injured since the fighting began.
