Qatar’s Ministry of Defence says its air defence forces have successfully intercepted a drone attack aimed at Al Udeid airbase, near Doha.

The update follows an earlier public alert from authorities saying the security threat level had been raised, advising people to remain indoors and keep away from windows and other exposed areas.
