Roughly 140 American service personnel have been wounded since the launch of “Operation Epic Fury”, according to the Pentagon.

Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said most of the injuries were relatively minor, with 108 troops already having returned to active duty.

He added that eight service members are still classed as seriously injured and are continuing to receive the highest level of medical treatment.
