Netblocks says Iran’s internet shutdown enters 16th day

Iran is still under what monitoring group Netblocks describes as a near-complete internet blackout.

A chart published by Netblocks at 14:21 indicates connectivity dropped 16 days ago and has stayed at almost zero ever since.

According to Netblocks, the prolonged disruption leaves very little conventional internet access inside the country.

The blackout is also hampering reporting from inside Iran, as journalists struggle to contact people on the ground. Some communication is still getting through via Starlink terminals, according to reports.
