Israel claims first coordinated Iran–Hezbollah attacks of conflict; no injuries reported

Israel’s military says Iran and the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah have carried out their first coordinated attacks on Israel since the latest conflict began.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told CNN that one missile was launched from Iran, while six projectiles — including drones — were launched from Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The launches triggered red alert sirens in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv within minutes of each other, and CNN reported witnessing intercepts over central Israel.

A short time later, the IDF said Iran and Hezbollah carried out a second coordinated attack.

Israel’s emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, said there were no immediate reports of injuries.
