Iran’s Revolutionary Guards say they are no longer focused on limited reprisals and are now prepared for what they describe as a fight for survival.
According to the IRGC, the period of measured retaliation has passed, with the group indicating it now sees the conflict as an existential one rather than a series of isolated exchanges.
It also reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz should now be regarded as effectively closed, warning that no oil would be allowed through without Tehran’s approval.
Addressing reports of three vessels being struck, the IRGC claimed the ships had been operating on behalf of the United States and Israel, despite sailing under other flags.
