Iran’s army says its latest strikes in Kuwait were aimed at US military facilities and has warned further attacks are imminent.

Iranian state television quoted the army as saying: “Over the past few hours, various types of destructive drones of the army’s ground forces have targeted American military bases in Kuwait in large numbers.”

It added: “These attacks will continue in the coming hours.”
