Iran has sharply criticised the European Union, accusing it of effectively enabling the US and Israel’s attacks on the country.

Foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said the bloc’s reaction to the war amounted to tacit support for the military action.

In a post on X, he argued that the EU’s failure to challenge what he described as American and Israeli aggression, brutality and atrocities amounted to complicity.
