Hezbollah says it has carried out rocket strikes on a number of Israeli military positions close to the Lebanese frontier.

In a statement, the group said it had targeted an assembly of Israeli troops and vehicles at the Hamams position, near the border town of Khiam, as well as the Ajal Hill site close to the Israeli settlement of Kfar Yuval.

It added that the Fatima Gate area along the Lebanon-Israel border had also come under rocket fire.
