An Iranian Army spokesman has warned that Iranian forces would strike US targets "without geographic limits" if Washington attacked Iran, according to Iran International.
Iran International says the warning was issued on Friday 6 November. The spokesman has not been named in its report.
This is a stated threat, not a military action. It sets out what Iran says it would do in response to a US attack.
In a separate item, Iran International reports an outlet linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as saying Iran will never allow US bases in the region to be rebuilt. No further detail on that statement has been published.
Neither statement has been independently checked.
