What is deleted
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It deletes your UK Fact Check account everywhere, including the news app if you use it. Your leaderboard results, display name, portrait and sign-in codes go with it, and your email address is erased.
Step 1 of 2: the email address on the account
We email a six-digit code to that address. If there is no account at it, nothing is sent and nothing is deleted.
