An Iranian school and nearby homes have reportedly been hit in a fresh US missile strike, according to Iran’s Mehr news agency.
The outlet said the attack targeted Dr Hafez Khomeni School in the central city of Khomeyn, with several residential properties in the surrounding area also said to have been damaged.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The latest claim comes as pressure mounts for an investigation into an earlier US missile strike on a girls’ school in Minab, in southern Iran, which reportedly killed at least 170 people, most of them students.
