Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also reported to have come under attack. Damage was reported, but there were no reports of casualties.

The incidents come amid heightened regional tensions following deadly strikes by Israel and the United States on Saturday, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East, according to regional reporting.
