Qatar’s Defence Ministry says the country has been hit by “a number of drones” launched from Iran.

In a statement, the ministry says all of the drones are “successfully intercepted and neutralised”.

The Qatari authorities do not, in the statement, give any immediate detail on where the drones were headed or whether there is any damage on the ground.
