Qatar says it has arrested 10 people suspected of having links to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to the country’s state news agency QNA.
QNA reported that authorities detained two alleged cells said to be “operating on behalf” of the IRGC inside Qatar.
Seven of the suspects were accused of spying on Qatari military sites, while three were alleged to have been preparing “acts of sabotage” and trained to use drones, QNA said.
The agency added that investigators recovered “locations and coordinates of sensitive facilities and installations”, as well as communication devices and other technical equipment.
