Presenting Israel as a friend of the Iranian people, the Israeli prime minister said the coming days would help create the circumstances for Iranians to determine their own future.
Meanwhile, Iran’s deputy health minister, Ali Jafarian, told Al Jazeera that at least 1,255 people had been killed and around 12,000 injured since the start of the US-Israeli campaign.
Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, has also said that nearly 10,000 civilian locations have been damaged or destroyed, including 65 schools and other educational facilities, as well as almost 8,000 homes.
