Kuwait’s Defence Ministry says the armed forces have detected and responded to a significant number of projectiles entering the country’s airspace in the past 24 hours.

According to the ministry, the military has monitored and “dealt with” eight ballistic missiles and 19 drones over that period.

The Kuwaiti military says there have been no deaths, injuries or damage to property linked to the incidents.
