The past few hours in Tehran have been relatively quiet, though earlier in the day there were reports of heavy explosions in the capital as well as at Kerman airport.
Elsewhere, several oil storage facilities in Shiraz were said to have been struck, although the extent of the damage remains unclear. Loud blasts were also reported in Karaj, to the west of Tehran.
Isfahan has once again come under attack, continuing a pattern seen each day since the conflict began.
Even so, the US warning that today could bring the heaviest bombardment yet in the joint US-Israeli campaign has, for the moment, not fully materialised.
That has done little to calm nerves, however. Many in Iran are anxiously awaiting the possibility of further escalation, with fears growing that the conflict could enter an even more destructive phase.
