Dubai’s media office says no injuries have been reported following what it described as a “drone-related incident” in the vicinity of the US consulate.

In a social media post, the office said a fire linked to the incident had been brought under control and that emergency services responded swiftly.

“Dubai authorities have confirmed that a fire resulting from a drone-related incident near the US Consulate has been successfully contained,” it said. “Emergency teams responded immediately. No injuries have been reported.”
