Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of a fresh barrage of long-range Sejjil missiles towards Israel, marking what it says is the twelfth wave of such attacks. According to a statement reported by Al Jazeera, the IRGC cautioned that Iranian missiles and drones remain active in the skies above “occupied lands”.

The IRGC declared that its missile campaign would be “focused and continuous”, warning, “We have opened the gates of hell on the Zionists.”

Al Jazeera notes that the IRGC’s statement signals an intention to maintain pressure on Israel, with further attacks likely to follow.
