Iran Investigates Alleged Israeli Links, Executes Spy

Iran’s judiciary confirms it is investigating 20 individuals arrested on suspicion of collaborating with Israel, following the recent 12-day conflict. The arrests, announced late last month by Iranian intelligence, encompass alleged Mossad agents and support personnel operating in Tehran and elsewhere.

This follows a period of escalated hostilities initiated by Israel in mid-June with an unprecedented bombing campaign targeting Iranian military and nuclear sites, as well as civilian areas. Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes. Reports indicate senior military commanders and nuclear scientists were amongst those killed.

Demonstrating a swift yet brutual response, Iranian authorities executed Roozbeh Vadi on Wednesday, convicted of espionage relating to Iranian nuclear facilities.
