This is a feed of posts from the Eitaa channel of Ali-Akbar Raefipour, dated 14–15 Aban 1405 (5–6 November 2026). Most of the hard news items match real events reported the same week: Paraguay's President Peña resigned and was impeached 78–0; the PUK withdrew from the Kurdistan Regional Government; 67 MKs recommended Eisenkot against 46 for Netanyahu; Trump showed a 'VETO' hat and said 'a lot of things' would happen over the next week or two. Several posts go further than the evidence. Saying the 'KRG has fallen' turns a party's withdrawal from a caretaker government into a collapse. Saying Eisenkot 'will be' tasked jumps ahead of Herzog, who delayed his decision. Saying 'Trump wants Hegseth removed' conflicts with Trump's public statement that he intends to keep him. The Kyiv 'secret torture prison' item repeats social-media allegations without mentioning that police and the National Guard disputed them before the post went out. A criminal investigation is still open, so the item is rated misleading or disputed rather than false. The airlift numbers (5 to 67 flights a day), the Hegseth 'blackmail documents' claim, the wording of the Sonny Thang quote and the claim of a current government mother-tongue education plan could not be confirmed.

• Paraguayan President Santiago Peña resigned on 5 November 2026 after the collapse of Ueno Bank, amid protests and a revolt within his own Colorado Party (ABC News/AP, NPR, Bloomberg, CNN, all 5 Nov 2026).
• Paraguay's Chamber of Deputies voted 78–0 to impeach Peña minutes after he resigned (NPR 5 Nov 2026; Latin Times; Yahoo). Caveat: Al Jazeera (5 Nov 2026) reports that Congress did not accept the resignation because the joint session lost its quorum. The post leaves this out.
• Peña is a Trump-aligned leader (Bloomberg headline 'Bank Collapse Takes Down a President and Trump Ally'; Responsible Statecraft, 5 Nov 2026).
• Republicans suffered major losses in the November 2026 midterms and lost both chambers of Congress (US News/Reuters, Yahoo, Fox clip, 5 Nov 2026).
• The PUK, led by Bafel Talabani, announced on 5 November 2026 that it was withdrawing from the Kurdistan Regional Government. It said it did not recognise the latest parliamentary session and would answer any unilateral KDP appointments with matching appointments in Sulaymaniyah (964media, Saudi Gazette, Yeni Şafak/Anadolu, The Arab Weekly, The National).
• The Kurdistan Parliament session on 4 November 2026 went ahead despite boycotts by the PUK, New Generation and others. 52 MPs attended: the KDP plus Christian and Turkmen quota MPs and some defectors or independents. They elected Vala Fareed (KDP) as speaker, a Christian deputy speaker and a Turkmen secretary (Rudaw, 964media, Shafaq News, Arab News/AFP).
• Israeli President Herzog said factions totalling 67 MKs recommended Gadi Eisenkot and factions totalling 46 recommended Netanyahu (Times of Israel, Ynet, JNS, 5–6 Nov 2026).
• Trump said in the Oval Office on 5 November 2026 that people would see 'a lot of things over the next week, two weeks' (transcript on Tommy Christopher's Substack; BizToc/Breaking The News).
• Trump displayed a red hat reading 'VETO' in the Oval Office on 5 November 2026 (Yahoo, AOL, Fox clip).
• The '40-day war' is a real reference: the US–Israeli war on Iran ran from 28 February to the ceasefire of 8 April 2026 (Al Jazeera, 8 Apr 2026; GlobalSecurity.org).
• A US military build-up in the region was under way in early November 2026, with transport flights and a carrier deployment (Ynet, citing INSS tracking data; Misbar/Flightradar24, 5 Nov 2026).
• Sonny (Sony) Thang is a real Vietnamese commentator with an anti-US-policy profile (Prensa Latina, 24 Dec 2025).

• That Israel's Channel 14 reported an average of 5 US military transport flights a day to the region before the 40-day war, rising to about 67 a day now. A build-up is corroborated, but neither the attribution nor the figures could be found in Channel 14 or any other source.
• That the PUK held an 'emergency meeting' before deciding to withdraw. Sources describe a televised or video address by Talabani; the meeting itself was not confirmed.
• That 'all PUK ministers and officials' are leaving the KRG. Talabani announced the withdrawal, but no confirmed resignations of individual ministers were found. The Arab Weekly says the announcement does not amount to declaring a separate administration.
• That Hegseth is threatening Trump, through social-media influencers, with documents or information against him. The only related item found is a single cryptic 'I know the blackmail' post by a pro-Hegseth influencer (Raw Story, 5 Nov 2026). No reputable source reports Hegseth making or directing such threats.
• The exact wording of the 'left and right' quote attributed to Sonny Thang. No original source was found, and it is opinion in any case.
• That the Pezeshkian government currently has a plan for 'education in the mother tongue'. In early 2025 the government spokesperson spoke of a bill, then narrowed this to 'teaching of' local languages rather than 'teaching in' them (Asr Iran, Hamshahri, AA Persian, early 2025). No November 2026 government plan was found. The claims about 'federalising Iran' and the comparison with Rouhani are opinion and cannot be checked.

Confidence

Medium-High — Several reputable, dated sources (5–6 November 2026) agree on the main events (Paraguay, Kurdistan, Israel, Trump, Kyiv), so the verified items and the identified framing distortions rest on solid evidence. Confidence is lower for the airlift statistics, the Hegseth 'documents' claim, the Sonny Thang quote and the status of the Iranian education plan, where no confirming sources were found. It is also lower for the Kyiv item, where an official investigation is still pending. The fast-moving items (Israeli mandate, Hegseth's tenure, Peña's legal status) may change after the review date.
