A tower in Riyadh's King Abdullah Financial District was damaged by a projectile on Sunday 8 November, Reuters reports. It cites a witness and three people briefed on the matter.
Reuters did not identify where the projectile came from. Saudi authorities did not immediately respond. The report has not been independently verified.
The damage was reported on the same morning that the Saudi-led coalition said its air defences intercepted two Houthi ballistic missiles fired towards Riyadh. No link between the damaged tower and those launches has been confirmed.
Earlier, at 05:25 GMT, Iran International, citing Reuters, reported several loud booms in Riyadh after a Saudi Civil Defense early-warning alert.
