Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, has stated that the country’s air force is preparing to carry out further “very significant” strikes in Tehran, targeting both regime assets and critical infrastructure.

Speaking to The Times of Israel, Katz claimed that Israel is “on the verge of destroying” at least 10 nuclear-related sites in the Iranian capital, crediting the country’s aerial capabilities.

He also pointed to Iran’s Fordow uranium enrichment facility — a site so deeply buried that only US bunker-busting bombs are thought capable of inflicting serious damage — and noted it is “an issue that will certainly be addressed”.
