The 10-year gilt yield was 5.146% at about 11:00 GMT on Friday 6 November, according to the Proactive Investors markets blog, carried by Yahoo Finance UK.
That is below both the 5.33% close on Budget day and the 5.25% five-week low reported here earlier.
The fall came during a global technology sell-off that sent investors into government bonds. The same blog had the FTSE 100 down 206 points and the FTSE 250 down 283 points at about 10:48 GMT. It put the 10-year US Treasury yield down 6 basis points at 4.84%.
Because US borrowing costs fell at the same time, today's move reflects a wider bond rally rather than anything specific to the UK. It does not on its own show a market response to the Budget.
This is a market reading taken during the trading day. It is not an official assessment of the government's headroom against its fiscal rules.
